The leadership team of Destined IMAGE conducted a two-day focus group in Charlotte, NC to revisit its mission, programs, and strategic goals. This particular focus group consisted of women between the ages of 25 and 40+. The topics covered in the focus groups were: The State of Women in the Work Place, Sex & Relationships, Defining the Right Work / Life / Higher Education Balance for Women in Today’s Society, and Obstacles & Challenges Women Face in Today’s Society. In addition to the focus group, a survey was conducted to capture data that played an integral role in the findings below. These particular results further illustrate the reason Destined IMAGE is committed to mental health awareness, leadership training and teaching life management skills.
Our goal is to successfully reach 20-25 women between the ages of 18-35 per year. Women will learn to embrace life challenges while striving to be successful. Ultimately, this initiative will heal the vicious cycles of emotional stress while preparing each participant to become future mentors for generations to come.
